Welcome to the Gladstone PCYC Irish Dancers website. The Gladstone PCYC Irish Dancers is an Irish dancing activity provided by the Gladstone PCYC.
Located in Yarroon Street, Gladstone 4680, the non-profit group meets weekly for classes and performs regularly in displays and competitions.
Kylie Ware and Shelley Williamson volunteer their services to run the classes and coordinate the various performances throughout the year, including our major performance, the annual PCYC Irish Dancers Concert. Please note, that Kylie and Shelley are not registered teachers, however are supported with a great amount of dance experience. Both Kylie and Shelley have 14 years of experience in other styles of dance. Kylie has been Irish dancing for over 4 years, while Shelley has been Irish dancing since its inception in Gladstone, over 7 years ago.
Kylie and Shelley are supported by Colette Shields, a Mackay based registered Irish Dance teacher from the Claddagh School of Irish Dance. Colette travels to Gladstone for regular workshops with the students and also allows the students to register under her school to participate in competitions.
